Accommodations

Accommodations are being provided at the University of Prince Edward Island at great rates:

2 Bedroom suites with 2 double beds including breakfast – can accommodate 4 persons at $93.10 plus tax
3 bedroom suites each with double beds including breakfast – can accommodate 6 persons at $119.25 plus tax
2 bedroom apartment units each with 2 single beds including breakfast –can accommodate 4 persons at $109.70 plus tax
Single bedroom with two single beds including breakfast at $58.42 plus tax
Single bedroom with one single bed including breakfast at $44.51 plus tax

All plenary sessions will be held at the University of Prince Edward Island in facilities in close proximity to the residence buildings. Children’s and Youth programs will be planned to coincide with these sessions.

Lobster Dinner

A free Lobster Dinner will be hosted by Community Baptist Church on Monday, June 30, for the first 350 people to pre-register!

Canada Day Bash

A Canada Day Bash at historic Ft. Amherst, overlooking the beautiful Charlottetown Harbour, will include an afternoon picnic, outdoor fun and games, an evening worship service, and the Charlottetown Fireworks Display, which is the biggest display east of Montreal! Fun for the whole family! Transportation will be provided.

Information Package

For those who pre-register for Convention 2008, Tourism PEI will mail information packs filled with information about sights in and around Charlottetown, including a 20% Discount for the “Anne of Green Gables” musical, as well as savings at various local businesses and tourist attractions.

The Prince Edward Island Convention Partnership has recently launched a new program called “Come Early Stay Late”.
