Children's Ministry

Children are a gift from God.  In fact, children are some of the most important people at church.  That is why we offer ministries for all children, whether they are 1 month old or in grade 6.

 

Every Sunday morning at 9:30, children and adults alike enjoy Bible Study on their own level.  Children learn about the Bible and God's love for them through fun, interactive activities, songs, stories, and crafts.

 

During the Sunday morning worship service all the children are invited to the front for the “Children’s Time.”  This is a story, song, or activity that contains biblical application and helps children understand that they are an important part of the church and that they too can participate in worship.

Following the children’s time, the preschoolers are dismissed for “Kid's Church,” a fun, interactive experience on their own level.  A nursery is provided for babies 0-2 years of age all morning.

 

At various times through the year, special activities are offered for children, and during the Christmas season the kids participate in a Christmas pageant.  Vacation Bible School is another highlight of the year for children age 4 to grade 6 and takes place for a week during the summer months.
